DXC was giving a demo of our smart manufacturing solution, live on a robotic arm. Our solution enables data-driven manufacturing in fast-paced and complex environments by easily analyzing machines, sensors and manufacturing data. DXC has used the solution to develop a number of use cases, such as production visibility, quality control, predictive maintenance and energy optimization.

Alexander Linke

Head of IIoT Offerings, DXC Technology (Europe)

Alex is an experienced technology professional, who is motivated by a vision to enhance the world through intelligent software, data and AI. With specialized manufacturing and automotive industry expertise, Alex has headed DevOps, data engineering and machine learning projects for DXC’s global automotive and manufacturing customers, including BMW, Continental and Mercedes-Benz. He is currently leading a team dedicated to designing and implementing Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) platforms for multiple clients. These platforms consist of an hybrid architecture, including edge and connectivity solutions for PLCs and sensors and an enterprise-wide private cloud component – all with an emphasis on a secure and production-critical design.
