Join DXC at Rail Live 2026 to explore how technology can help rail organisations modernise critical systems, strengthen operational resilience and accelerate digital transformation with confidence.

As DXC continues to grow its presence across the rail industry, Rail Live is a valuable opportunity for us to listen, learn, build new partnerships and demonstrate how digital innovation can deliver meaningful outcomes in complex transport environments.

DXC will be at Booth W30, opposite Network Rail and near the Engineering Theatre. Come and meet our team to discuss your organisation’s priorities, explore practical demos and see how DXC can help move rail transformation from ambition to measurable progress.

Whether you are focused on modernising legacy systems, improving operational performance, strengthening resilience or exploring the practical role of AI, our team will be ready to talk.

As Digital Innovations Headline Sponsor, DXC will showcase how AI, data, engineering, cyber, cloud, application modernisation and enterprise platforms can support the rail sector’s most important priorities — from operational resilience and better decision-making to safer, more efficient services.

Sessions

Date & Time: Wednesday, June 17 | 10:15am – 11:00am
Location: Theatre: Engineering & Safety
Speaker:

  • Rafael Liechti, Rail Industry Lead Europe, DXC Technology

Rail organisations face growing pressure to modernise while navigating fragmentation, funding pressures, and the transition to GBR. Yet many transformation programmes risk simply digitising existing silos rather than delivering meaningful operational change. This session explores how rail leaders can move beyond pilots to achieve scalable, outcome driven transformation across complex rail ecosystems. Through real-world examples, attendees will hear how innovation is being successfully embedded across organisations despite structural challenges. The discussion will provide practical, actionable insights into the key ingredients for effective transformation, helping organisations turn digital ambition into measurable operational results.

Date & Time: Thursday, June 18 | 12.00pm – 13:45pm
Location: Porterbook tower
Speakers:

  • Carl Kinson, CTO UK & Ireland, DXC
  • Hari Prasad Govindarajan, AI &Transformation Leader UK & Ireland, DXC

Rail organisations are generating more data than ever before, yet many continue to face challenges in turning that information into actionable insight that drives better decisions, improved performance and tangible business outcomes.

This executive discussion will examine:

  • How AI is transforming decision-making across complex organisations
  • The gap between data availability and operational action
  • The barriers preventing insight from translating into measurable change
  • Practical approaches to embedding transformation at scale
  • Where AI can deliver meaningful value across the rail industry over the next 12–24 months
