Global Smart Manufacturing Chief Technologist, DXC Technology

Russell is a Chief Technologist specializing in digital transformation in manufacturing and has over 25 years' experience in the technology industry. His background is Enterprise Architecture within the Public Sector and Manufacturing holding previous roles as Regional Head of Enterprise Architecture, Sector Chief Architect and Manufacturing and Smart Factory Chief Technologist.

Russell is leading DXC’s Smart Manufacturing offering, developing its solutions and services such as Smart Factory. He combines his manufacturing, Industry 4.0 and legacy systems experience to develop business transformation strategies and outcome-based solutions to deliver real competitive advantage for DXC clients.

He is an industry thought leader, has over five years of real-life delivery experience in next generation digital manufacturing solutions and is a trusted advisor to some of the world’s biggest manufacturing companies.

Alexander Linke

Head of Industrial IoT (Europe), DXC Technology

Alex is an experienced technology professional, who is motivated by a vision to enhance the world through intelligent software, data and AI. With specialized manufacturing and automotive industry expertise, Alex has headed DevOps, data engineering and machine learning projects for DXC’s global automotive and manufacturing customers, including BMW, Continental and Mercedes-Benz. He is currently leading a team dedicated to designing and implementing Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) platforms for multiple clients. These platforms consist of a hybrid architecture, including edge and connectivity solutions for PLCs and sensors and an enterprise-wide private cloud component — all with an emphasis on a secure and production-critical design.

Alex has a Master of Sciences in Computer Science from the Technical University of Darmstadt, Germany.
