This session will have a short formal introduction leading to an interactive panel discussion with the Tristate team. We will discuss some of the challenges we encountered in migrating Asset Management from Cherwell to a FedRAMP ServiceNow environment. These challenges include FedRAMP’s limitations using Plugins, Integration Hub, Store based apps and support tickets along with obstacles encountered while trying to maintain process design, ongoing migration and overall governance. We will also cover coordination with the CMDB/Data import teams to ensure data accuracy and completeness.

Darrell Burnell

Head of Technology at Davies

A highly experienced technology leader, currently serving as Head of Technology at Davies who are a specialist professional services and technology firm, working in partnership with leading insurance, financial services, and highly regulated businesses.

Having over 30 years of experience in IT, with a strong background in technical consultancy, programme management, architecture, and strategy with a focus on IT transformation.

ServiceNow has grown from being an IT Service Management product to becoming a key strategic operational platform for Davies through the implementation of ITSM, ITAM, SPM, APM, SecOps and CSM. Davies were the first in the UK to go live with NowAssist for ITSM and are constantly looking at how the platform can help improve operational efficiency.

Amy Nisenson

Senior Director, IT Controls Operations at Equitable

Amy Nisenson is a Senior Director leading the IT Controls Operations department at Equitable.  She is responsible for the strategic risk and control program within IT, including key control design, execution, and remediation. Additionally, Amy is responsible for leading the IT Control Automation program utilizing the ServiceNow GRC platform and partnering with IT Service Operations to drive the implementation and adoption of ServiceNow GRC automation across the IT organization. Prior to her current role, Amy managed strategic initiatives across multiple departments within Equitable including Finance, Actuarial, and Internal Audit. Before joining the company, Mrs. Nisenson worked at PwC managing IT internal control audits for various Fortune 500 companies in the Banking and Capital Markets industry. Mrs. Nisenson holds a Bachelors of Science in Accounting from Binghamton University.

Terese Pate

Director of DXC Platform X™ at DXC Technology

Terese Pate is the Director of DXC Platform X™ at DXC Technology. She leads the strategic direction and development for the AI-enabled service delivery platform that enables clients to transform IT and business operations at scale. She manages strategic relationships working collaboratively with partners and across DXC to continually evolve the platform’s strategy to meet current and future client needs. Terese brings over 20 years of IT experience and has been responsible for architecting, building, and engineering solutions for DXC’s most strategic customers.

Betty Lau

Head of Product Management for DXC Platform X™, DXC Technology

Betty Lau is the Head of Product Management for DXC Platform X™, an AI-enabled platform that delivers silent running IT estates for over 600 customers’ mission critical operations. Her primary focus is on developing innovative and market-relevant products that accelerate our customers’ business outcomes and drive efficiencies for DXC. She has over 20 years of experience in the IT industry, where she held a variety of consulting, business development and practice management roles globally, with demonstrated expertise in artificial intelligence, analytics and data engineering, and enterprise applications.

Mark Carvin

Technical Architect, DXC Technology

Certified Master Architect for DXC Advisory and Consulting with over 10 years of ServiceNow experience specializing in ITOM, ITAM, ITSM & Integrations. He has implemented solutions for hundreds of clients across multiple industries in both the public and private sectors (including regulated) focused on delivering value for our customers, their employees, and their stakeholders.

Kimberly Kamsickas

IT Asset and Finance Program Manager, Tri-State Generation and Transmission Association, Inc.

With a 14+ year history in building and maturing ITAM practices, Kimberly has implemented 4 IT asset repositories. The 4th and latest was in partnership with DXC to stand up their most robust repository to date. Specializations include Oracle and Microsoft licensing, Cisco licensing and lifecycle, and full HAM and SAM Program ownership. Additionally, she is recently FinOps certified and has 3+ years of experience building an IT Finance program.

Richard Stubbs

Global Offering Lead, DXC Technology

Richard is the Global Offering Lead at DXC. He has a BSc Hons in Mathematics. Joined CSC from BAE Systems in 1994. Following roles in Delivery and Account Leadership, responsible for establishing CSC Global ServiceNow solution. Led CSC Service Management Portfolio before joining DXC on its formation in 2017 as Portfolio Director for Modern Workplace. Since January 2021, DXC Global Practice Lead for ServiceNow.

Mike Phelan

Manchester United Ambassador

As a player, Mike made 146 appearances for United after signing from Norwich City in 1989, before joining West Brom in 1994. He was at the heart of Sir Alex’s first trophy-winning team, with honours including the 1990 FA Cup, 1991 European Cup Winners’ Cup and 1993 Premier League title.

Following the end of his playing career, Phelan moved into management. Phelan was hired by Manchester United, taking over as the assistant manager of the club's reserve team. Two years later, he was promoted to become Alex Ferguson's chief first-team coach, and in 2008 he replaced Carlos Queiroz as Ferguson's assistant manager. He remained in the position until Ferguson's retirement in 2013.

Jessica Martin-Lane

Jessica Martin-Lane serves as the Vice President of Operations for DXC Technology's Enterprise Applications Group. Her role involves steering strategic initiatives, fostering innovation, and harnessing cutting-edge technology products such as ServiceNow. Renowned as an out-of-the-box thinker and accomplished business leader, Jessica is celebrated for her adeptness in cultivating and executing strategies that propel multi-million-dollar businesses and teams to success. With a steadfast determination, results-driven approach, and a fervent commitment to meaningful work, she exemplifies excellence in her field.
