Fubon Life Insurance (Hong Kong) Company Limited is a wholly owned subsidiary of Fubon Financial Holdings and part of one of Taiwan’s leading life insurers. Licensed in Hong Kong since 2016, it provides life, health, savings, annuities, and wealth management services in one of Asia’s most highly regulated markets.
As part of a critical AS400 platform refresh, Fubon Life Hong Kong needed to migrate its core insurance policy administration system, Life Asia, located in Taiwan to a new AS400 infrastructure in Hong Kong. The initiative was driven by local regulatory requirements and growing business demand.
Zero downtime and uninterrupted service were non-negotiable, alongside full regulatory compliance in Hong Kong. The new platform also had to be future-ready—built to scale, perform faster, and operate with greater resilience.
Fubon Life selected DXC Technology to lead the migration and modernization of its Life Asia core administration system. The program was delivered on time and with zero downtime, allowing policy and claims operations to continue seamlessly throughout the transition.
DXC also enhanced the platform to enable workflow automation, API readiness, greater processing capacity, and scalable system expansion. The outcome is a secure, compliant, and future-ready core platform that supports Fubon Life’s evolving business needs.
With enhanced speed and accuracy, Fubon Life can now personalize products and services more effectively, strengthening customer satisfaction and long-term trust.
