Documents and dossiers may contain information not intended to be published due to intellectual property protection or privacy constrains. Secure redaction is a cumbersome process, usually performed manually by experts who would be better off performing value-added tasks instead.

DXC AutoRedact is the tool of choice for this use case. Our web-based redaction solution supports your experts efficiently to comply with legal requirements and helps to create securely redacted versions of sensitive documents.

We automate the redaction process as much as possible, nevertheless human interference and verification is still required. Quality assurance and acceptance stays with the redaction editor.

Efficient Redaction

DXC AutoRedact provides an intelligent, semi-automated process by pre-redacting documents for a reviewer based on “One-Click” redaction rules, blacklists, redaction classification and use of artificial intelligence modules like Named Entity Recognition.

An intuitive user-friendly web-interface  supports redaction editors in their daily work and removes the burden of repetitive tasks . Redactions are created with a single “One-Click” and propagated through the documents, while the editor can focus on the essential content like confidential facts in complex context.

The reuse of redaction schemas shortens the process time.

A redaction log is automatically created to record the justifications  for all redaction.

This results in a redacted document, ready for review.

Secure Redaction

DXC AutoRedact considers different aspects of security and operational risk mitigation.

Sensitive documents are kept within a centrally controlled and managed environment, no local document download required. Administration, configuration and processing of the data takes place in the data center.

Sophisticated search patterns find relevant sensitive information throughout the document based on rules.

Document structure can be complicated, not only obvious information is redacted, but also hidden content. Multiple layers images, annotations, metadata and canvas beyond visibility can hide information, but AutoRedact solves this challenge.
