DXC Technology Marks NT Cricket’s Imparja Cup 30th Anniversary with Community Laptop Donation Aimed at Connecting Students through Technology and Building Better Futures

ALICE SPRINGS, Australia, 24 February -- DXC Technology (NYSE: DXC), a leading Fortune 500 global technology services company, today announced it will be donating 15 laptops to Clontarf Foundation Academy students participating in the Indigenous Men’s Community Competition, to mark the 30th anniversary celebration of the Imparja Cup, hosted by NT Cricket.

The 2023 Imparja Cup will see Indigenous cricketer’s from around the Northern Territory coming to play in Alice Springs.  As the official technology partner of NT Cricket and major partner of the Imparja Cup Community Men's division, DXC and NT Cricket are heavily focused on supporting the development of players in the Territory for their entire cricketing journey.

DXC’s laptop donations across the Asia Pacific, forms part of DXC’s Digital Futures Program, which delivers on our commitment set out in the Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP), enabling Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities to achieve self-determination and proportional representation across all areas of Australian society.

DXC is making a positive difference by connecting students through technology, reducing barriers and providing them with a platform that contributes to their educational success. The laptop donations in this initiative will assist students complete high school and transition into employment pathways, equip them to participate more meaningfully in society and achieve better life outcomes.

NT Cricket is the peak sporting body for cricket in the Northern Territory. 21,293 people participate in cricket in the Northern Territory (9% per capita), the second largest reach of any sporting organisation in the Territory. NT Cricket is responsible for the promotion, control and regulation of cricket for all people living in the Northern Territory, as well as fostering the development and growth of cricket in the Northern Territory to enable men, women, girls and boys to play.
