New tool evades detection in cloud containers

Containers continue to be a key target for threat groups, and attackers are getting better at obscuring their attacks. Case in point: TeamTNT is targeting Docker and Kubernetes and using a new open-source tool to evade detection by common process information programs.

This is a critical new threat to ever-expanding cloud environments. Also in this issue, federal authorities warn that attackers are exploiting seven high or critical vulnerabilities in widely used VPNs, gateways and collaboration services.
