We do this by managing and supporting XR devices just as we would any other device. Today DXC manages 6.9 million devices, including Windows, Mac and mobile systems. We build and integrate device management technologies to deliver industry best practices to customers, refining solutions as new capabilities and functions become available for different platforms. We build on our extensive service integration skills for the virtual world; for example, we lean on our experience with Microsoft 365 integrations to apply Microsoft Mesh’s integration with Whiteboard, PowerPoint and other content stored in OneDrive.
Yes! Our employees use the DXC Virtual World platform for events, team-building and meetings. We have hosted a virtual conference for 1,300 attendees including DXC sales professionals, keynote speakers and 50 exhibitors in a vendor expo hall. We apply learnings from our own efforts to our customers’ implementations.
We also have used our internal expertise to build a 3D space in Microsoft Mesh that is an exact replica of our customer experience center in India. Customers can visit the center virtually using PCs or VR headsets and walk around the Mesh representation of the physical office as avatars, talk to our teams and get overviews of the capabilities of that facility, such as cloud and network center operations.
