About the program

In 2014, a growing focus on workplace diversity and inclusion led DXC to discover there was limited evidence-based information on employing neurodivergent individuals.

Recognizing the untapped potential during a time of significant technology skills gaps, we embarked on a mission to create a supportive pathway to employment.

The DXC Dandelion Program extends beyond mere job placement; we believe in equipping neurodivergent individuals with the necessary tools, support, training, and hands-on work experience to not only secure employment, but also to cultivate sustainable, fulfilling careers in IT.

Program impact

Neurodivergent individuals, such as those on the autism spectrum or who have dyslexia or ADHD, often have an extraordinary capacity for visual thinking, accuracy and attention to detail. These are invaluable skills in the IT industry, particularly in areas such as cybersecurity and data analytics.

DXC Dandelion Program embraces, supports and expands the skills of neurodiverse people to help them secure long-term, fulfilling IT careers.

As a result, DXC customers and partners are given access to highly skilled team members with strong technical capability, to meet their IT needs.
