We look forward to working with you. DXC IT is committed to providing you with the tools and resources you need to optimize your productivity and your overall satisfaction.

Please have your DXC credentials (email + temporary access pass) from the instructions emailed by your manager.

If you haven’t received these details by your first day on the job, contact your manager or your recruiter to request them.

You will also need:

  1. List of people to call or contact for help.

  • Ask your recruiter or your manager for your manager’s email and phone number.

  • Ask for a possible onboarding buddy or team colleague provided by manager/recruiter.

On your first day at DXC:

Set up your DXC credentials:

  1. Follow the instructions emailed by your manager to set up your secure access with your DXC email and temporary access pass (sent in a separate email). Your @dxc.com email address is critical for access. This is required to log in to your computer and serves as your user name to access many tools and applications in the DXC IT Services environment.
  2. Install the Microsoft Authenticator app on your mobile device. iOS | Android. You will need it as your backup to authenticate your identity for secure access.
  3. Follow the prompts on the computer screen by providing your email and temporary access pass. The next screen is to create a PIN for your Windows Hello single sign-on experience. Once you have your PIN, from your login screen, select Sign-in options and select the icon for PIN.
  4. Set up additional multifactor authentication (MFA) with your Authenticator app:
    1. Go to Myaccount.microsoft.com to register your Authenticator app.
    2. In “Security info” section, click “UPDATE INFO,” click “+ Add sign-in method” and follow steps to add the Authenticator app to a mobile device.
  5. If you are using a Mac, personal device or a device provided by a client or you are a Luxoft colleague, the Microsoft Authenticator app is your solution for secure authentication. You do not have the option to use Windows Hello.

Once you have your credentials, and authentication is complete, you are ready to begin using DXC tools. Please be patient. Some systems could take longer to sync.

  1. Open Outlook and the pre-installed Microsoft Teams app. In Teams find:

    •  DXC Hub (in the left menu) is a great launching point to help you navigate DXC.
    • DXC EVA Chat on Teams is for DXC employee-related topics: HR, IT, Payroll, Accounts Payable, Finance and Procurement. EVA (Everyone’s Virtual Assistant) can address DXC employee topics only.
    • You can add apps to the left navigation menu in Teams.
  2. Learn about DXC Technology
  3. Learn about Microsoft Teams.

On your first week at DXC:

The steps below may not be possible on your first day as it will take time for your new account information to sync with some systems.

On Day 2 or 3:

  • Use the Windows search bar in the lower left of your PC desktop to search for and open “company portal” to install available software.

  • Use DXC Hub as a centralized starting point to help you navigate DXC.

  • Join and explore Viva Engage, our internal social media platform. You can connect, join communities, collaborate and share information with colleagues globally. Once you have your DXC email established, sign up for an account. Join the DXC IT community for important information related to your technology.

On Day 3 or 4 use UPtime for:

  • Information about your PC

  • Access to information about IT services (knowledge articles, support, etc.)

  • Outage alerts

  • IT support (Use EVA chat in the lower right corner)
