DXC Dandelion Programme
The DXC Dandelion Programme provides an environment that supports and celebrates the talents and skills of neurodiverse people — such as those with Autism, ADHD or Dyslexia — and helps them build valuable skills to pursue a career in information technology. We have employed 15 neurodiverse individuals across the UK in our first intake, with the intention to grow to 24 in the first year. More information.

DXC Digital Futures Academy
DXC and Manchester United Foundation have partnered to launch the DXC Digital Futures Academy, a four-year education programme for secondary-school students in the Greater Manchester area. The academy aims to support, inspire and empower young people, connecting them to opportunities and enhancing their career prospects in the technology sector. 50 students aged 12-13 years old have been selected for the programme, which includes teaching technology personal and professional development skills. UK Net Zero Commitment
We are reducing the carbon footprint of our data centers, offices and other properties. We have committed to set near-term company-wide emissions reductions in line with the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) and have set a near-term target to reduce emissions 65% by FY30 against our FY19 baseline. We are committed to being Net Zero in the UK by 2050. Since FY19, we have reduced our direct greenhouse gas emissions by 50% globally. More information.

Green Software
Green software development encompasses designing, developing and optimising software in a way that reduces energy consumption and minimizes environmental impact while preserving its quality and integrity. DXC is a member of the Green Software Foundation, a non-profit that provides technology companies with standards and tools for building and delivering more energy-efficient and lower-carbon technology solutions. We are supporting green software by treating it as a core design principle, training our people as certified Green Software Practitioners, and engaging with the Green Software Foundation’s working groups and projects.
Government Digital Sustainability Alliance
DXC is a member of the Government Digital Sustainability Alliance circular economy working group. The Alliance exists to promote and progress knowledge and capabilities to deliver sustainable digital data and technology across the UK Government and their suppliers. The key focus areas of the circular economy working group are to improve awareness of circular economy, unblock areas that inhibit the procurement of circular devices and services, and enable technology projects that support the circular economy.
